Development of aural skills by exploring the elements of music, including:
  • rhythm (sound, silence; long, short; steady beat)
  • tempo (fast, slow, getting slower, getting faster)
  • pitch (high, low; pitch direction)
  • Harmony (major, minor, dissonances)
  • dynamics (loud, soft, terminology)
  • timbre (exploration of sounds produced)
